My experience began nearly 2 years ago. I met Apostle David and Pastor Yolanda Cruz through my wife Maria. Maria was attending calls / teachings via Zoom, which I would at times over hear. Not knowing that the Lord was ministering to my life through Apostle David’s messages or Pastor Yolanda’s message. As time went by, the pull of God’s word became stronger. The raw and strong messages were what I needed, and together, my wife and I decided to become members of FHCI. For a very long time, I had wanted to be a part of a ministry, but my own defenses built walls to block out anyone getting  close to me. This ministry broke through the walls I had built, as it is filled with God’s power and the anointing of the Holy Spirit. I never shared my battles with anyone but my wife, but the words that God was giving Apostle David and Pastor Yolanda were reassuring me that God was by my side and that the battles were his to fight. I was edified by each teaching and word. I enjoyed hearing what God had done in their lives and how God had overcome. I always told Maria that I enjoyed the realness of both of them. They exemplified true leadership, true love. They understood that life is hard and full of ups and downs. They showed me that just like me, God is working in their lives, That I could reach out to them in my times of doubts and their word would always be the same….Trust in God, have faith in God, follow God. That is how God has moved in my life and the lives of my family.  Apostle David and Pastor Yolanda will never know how God has used them in my life because this is how God works sometimes. I thank God for these 2 leaders he has placed in my life. They are a  blessing to the Almendarez family.
